You can be an important part of a young person’s progression into employment. A lot of young people are eager to start their employment journeys but lack the experience required to get on the career ladder. You can be the person to give them a chance help them develop work place skills they’ll carry for a lifetime.
You have the choice of offering a placement for a young person complete one of our traineeships. Or providing them the opportunity to have a placement in completing one of our college-based Study Programmes. Either of these options are a great way for you to give a short-term commitment to a young person and build up their workplace skills which will enable them to advance onto Apprenticeship level, which you can offer them yourself or allow them to progress with pursue this opportunity with another employer.
Of course, if you are unable to offer a work experience placement then there is still a way you can help. Coming into a college and giving a talk and the ins and outs of your industry is a great way for you to impart some wisdom upon some young people and provide them some battle knowledge that may just make the difference in their future careers.
